@Northern_munkey A very happy and youthful birthday to you fine sir!

Tips hat and raises a glass from The Peaks

As for the subject matter of the article:

I feel this was in poor taste and a poor judgement. However, one could argue that is indeed the way of the world, with film, TV, video games and so on.

We have entire franchises and armies of people eager to watch depictions of serial killers in brutal visceral detail, and usually with the families of the victims disagreeing to them being made.

Horror films being inspired by real life, then influencing real life, then one upping themselves in their depravity.

All this for the sake of some fiat currency inflating in someone’s account that’s only got a value due to collective belief.

Art imitates life, bringing with it all manner of beauty. Yet when art is imitating violence for the sake of money, and including real violence and death to back bolster it, beauty seems to be the hardest part to find.

Maybe Activision could look closer to their home turf for the next enemy within their storyline. Then maybe, just maybe they’d realise when looking at footage of a home grown tragedy they’re not so quick to drag and drop the file into Final Cut.

That said, great fun I’m having in the game but, also, it’s a F-U too situation, because screw the establishment etc.

Anyway, tra for now ducks, I’ve got a motorbike to clean 😂
