November 2026 could be one of the biggest months in recent gaming history – perhaps ever – and Xbox players have a particularly good reason to be excited. Rockstar Games is finally preparing to unleash Grand Theft Auto VI on Xbox Series X|S, bringing Jason and Lucia to the streets of Vice City and the wider state of Leonida. After years of anticipation, speculation and countless conversations about what the next Grand Theft Auto might deliver, the wait is almost over.

Of course, GTAVI is going to dominate the headlines, but there are other new Xbox games worth making room for throughout November. We’ve got an intriguing espionage RPG from the creators of Disco Elysium, a return to the puzzle-filled corridors of Escape Academy, a new Warhammer roguelite and even the opportunity to swap the criminal underworld for the responsibilities of a national park ranger.

Better still? There are also some welcome Day One additions for Game Pass subscribers. So, whether you’re looking for something new to play while waiting for Rockstar’s latest epic or simply want to know what’s coming to Xbox and Game Pass over the next few weeks, here’s what November has in store.

If you have exhausted all the best options from October, here are the best new Xbox games coming our way in November 2026.

  • Grand Theft Auto VI (GTAVI): November 19th – Xbox Series X|S

GRAVHOUNDS – November 2nd

November gets underway with GRAVHOUNDS, a chaotic cooperative adventure from Octopus Panic.

Admittedly launching through Game Preview, this is a work-in-progress experience that puts players in control of bio-engineered canine workers sent to tackle dangerous planetary operations.

Playable alone or with up to three other players, GRAVHOUNDS is all about surviving increasingly dangerous encounters with hostile swarms. Players can combine their abilities, throw objects around using gravity manipulation, build defensive structures and establish pipelines to keep their operations running. There’s plenty to juggle as well, with turrets, generators and fabricators helping to keep the pack alive.

The game promises plenty of variety between shifts, with new abilities and upgrades allowing players to reshape their loadouts as the difficulty increases. There are also different planets to explore, with more dangerous locations offering better rewards. Just be prepared for things to get messy when the swarm comes calling.

ZERO PARADES: Director’s Cut – November 3rd

The creators of Disco Elysium return with ZERO PARADES: Director’s Cut, an espionage RPG that looks set to deliver another intriguing narrative-led experience.

This time around, players take on the role of a brilliant but tormented operant, handed one final desperate assignment that could either restore their reputation or send everything crashing down once again.

It’s a world of broken relationships, deception and complicated decisions, with players tasked with rebuilding their network and unravelling a web of lies. The stakes are high, and the choices made along the way will determine whether the mission ends in success or another spectacular failure.

Given the pedigree of the team behind it, ZERO PARADES is certainly one to watch for anyone who appreciates RPGs that put storytelling and player decisions front and centre.

It arrives on Xbox Series X|S and PC, with Play Anywhere support.

Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School – November 5th

Class is back in session with Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School, the follow-up to the popular escape room adventure that has already attracted more than four million players. Coin Crew Games is expanding the formula with a much bigger experience, introducing an open-world escape room adventure. Whether that works after the brilliance of the original Escape Academy, we shall see…

The new campus is effectively one enormous puzzle to explore, packed with secret passages, hidden tunnels, dangerous traps and plenty of mysteries to uncover. Alongside an all-new campaign featuring handcrafted escape rooms, players will be investigating a dark conspiracy surrounding the school’s founding, while meeting new teachers and familiar faces from the original game.

There’s plenty of opportunity to bring a friend along too, with online and split-screen couch co-op both supported.

Perhaps best of all, Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School arrives as a Game Pass Day One release, available through Ultimate and PC tiers.

Kingdom of Night – November 5th

If supernatural horrors and old-school action RPGs are more your thing, Kingdom of Night could be worth investigating. Inspired by the 1980s, this is an isometric adventure that blends coming-of-age drama with some rather unpleasant cosmic horror.

The action takes place in Miami, Arizona, where a satanic cult has unleashed the ancient evil Baphomet. High school student John must battle through the resulting demonic chaos, rescuing friends and attempting to save the town before everything is lost.

There are five character classes to choose from, including Barbarian, Knight, Rogue, Necromancer and Sorcerer. Each comes with its own opportunities for character development, with expansive skill trees, equipment and powerful loot allowing players to shape their preferred fighting style. Demon Generals can be tackled in any order, while the wider town offers plenty of stories and secrets to discover.

From Dangen Entertainment, Kingdom of Night also supports local co-op, giving a second player the opportunity to join the fight.

Warhammer Survivors – November 10th

Warhammer fans have another reason to get excited this month, with Warhammer Survivors bringing the familiar survivors-like formula to Games Workshop’s biggest universe.

Developed by Auroch Digital, the team behind Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, this new roguelite is being created in partnership with Warhammer and Vampire Survivors developer poncle. If anyone knows how to make a survivors game, it is they.

As the name suggests, the challenge is all about surviving against increasingly overwhelming numbers of enemies. Iconic Warhammer characters will take on endless hordes drawn from multiple factions, with the action presented in a colourful pixel-art style.

Both Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer: Age of Sigmar feature, giving players the opportunity to experience different corners of the Warhammer universe through a fast-paced, pick-up-and-play format.

Warhammer Survivors arrives on Xbox Series X|S and PC, with Xbox Play Anywhere support. Better still, it joins Game Pass on day one for Ultimate and PC subscribers.

Ranger’s Path: National Park Simulator – November 17th

Things take a rather different turn with Ranger’s Path: National Park Simulator. Rather than fighting demons, battling alien creatures or escaping elaborate puzzle rooms, this one asks players to take responsibility for a sprawling natural environment.

Set within Faremont National Park, the game puts you in the boots of a park ranger tasked with maintaining trails, helping visitors and keeping the wilderness in good condition. That means clearing blocked paths, collecting litter, repairing signs and responding to more urgent situations, including wildlife sightings and missing hikers.

There’s a sizeable environment to explore, with forests, meadows, rivers and natural landmarks spread across the park. A ranger pickup helps with getting around, while a camera allows players to observe animals and build up a wildlife lexicon featuring creatures such as wolves, eagles and raccoons.

It’s not all about looking after nature, either. Visitors will need guidance, camping permits have to be checked and emergencies require a response. There’s clearly plenty to keep players occupied.

Grand Theft Auto VI (GTAVI) – November 19th

And now, the big one. Grand Theft Auto VI finally arrives on Xbox Series X|S on November 19th, bringing Rockstar Games’ long-awaited return to Vice City and introducing players to the wider state of Leonida.

It’s difficult to overstate the significance of this release. The next mainline Grand Theft Auto has been one of gaming’s most anticipated projects for years, and November is finally when players get to discover what Rockstar has been working towards.

This time, the story follows Jason and Lucia, two characters who already know that life isn’t necessarily going to deal them a fair hand. When an apparently straightforward job goes wrong, the pair find themselves caught up in a criminal conspiracy stretching across Leonida. With the odds stacked against them, they’ll need to rely on each other if they’re going to survive the dangerous world around them.

Rockstar is promising a single-player experience, with Vice City providing the backdrop for a much wider adventure across a state where almost anything goes. The combination of Jason and Lucia’s story, the criminal underworld and the sunny surroundings of Leonida gives GTAVI plenty of room to deliver the sort of sprawling experience the series is known for.

There is also an Ultimate Edition to consider, adding a collection of exclusive in-game bonuses for Jason and Lucia throughout their story. This includes additional vehicles, weapons, clothing, hairstyles, tattoos and vehicle customisation options, alongside access to special destinations such as Rideout Customs, Sara’s Unisex Salon, Stock 305, Electric Fang Tattoo and One-Eyed Willie’s.

The upgrade also brings additional activities and rewards, including the PTT Youngin$ Compound, a classic car collection and the opportunity to acquire some rather distinctive vehicles. It’s an extensive collection of extras for anyone wanting to get more out of their time in Leonida.

Of course, the main attraction is the game itself. After such a lengthy wait, November 19th is a date that Xbox players will have firmly marked on their calendars. Yes, November has some interesting releases elsewhere, but Grand Theft Auto VI is undoubtedly the game everyone will be talking about. We’ve been doing so for years already, why stop now!?

What Are You Playing On Xbox In November 2026?

There’s a nice spread of new games arriving on Xbox and Game Pass throughout November, even if one particular release is likely to overshadow everything else.

Let’s be honest, this is going to be Rockstar and Grand Theft Auto VI’s month. After years of waiting, the return to Vice City is finally upon us, and it’s difficult to imagine anything else taking the spotlight away from Rockstar’s latest blockbuster.
