Look at what a little scamp of a dog can do — and a whole lot of player purchases, too. World of Warcraft wrapped up a promotion where it sold enough copies of a pet named Roofus that it was able to donate $1.3 million to charity.
“During the promotion, Blizzard donated 100% of the purchase price of The Roofus Pack to Habitat for Humanity. Thank you to everyone who adopted Roofus, shared the promotion, or helped spread the word. Your support raised more than $1.3 million USD for Habitat for Humanity.”
