Chiang addresses the rumors in her latest LinkedIn post, hitting on four points that seem to continue to come up since the news of her leaving the company broke.

In a post titled , Chiang clarifies a few points that had been surfacing. She states that she did not leak confidential information, leave to join a competitor, discriminate, bully, harass, participate in insider trading, embezzlement, or fraud, and did not leave due to being passed over for a larger role.
